Tanzania Diamond Safari

Tanzania Diamond Safari will take you to some of the most superior accommodation Tanzania has to offer albeit with a lot of local influence. Also know as Tanzania on Wings, most of this safari is by scheduled light aircraft flights which greatly reduce driving time.

On the second day you will commence on safari to Ngorongoro Conservation Area; a two night stay here will include a tour into the crater floor for exploration as well as game viewing in the crater.

Next, you will fly into the Serengeti which is one of the world’s greatest national parks and this is where tens of thousands of herbivores migrations takes place setting it as the most exciting and thrilling national park to experience ‘Real Africa’ wild call. Apart from the game rich game viewing drives, the hot air balloon safaris over the plains will have you exploring the plains with its wildlife from the very best point of view.

We then set off for Lake Manyara National Park - a relatively small park that has succeeded in its vast conservation projects and thus boasting varied birdlife and wildlife as well as plant species. Lake Manyara was established with a mission to protect the elephant herds that have made this are world renowned as well as a wealth of biodiversity.

Your next destination will be Tarangire National Park – a large reserve that is centered on the Tarangire River and much of the wildlife in the Northern region of Tanzania head here for the water and the diverse vegetation znes ranging from acacia parkland and riverine grassland to deep gully vegetation and rocky hilltops during July to early November.

Duration: 10 days, 9 Nights

Day 1: Arusha, Tanzania

On arrival at Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by a Woni Safaris representative, who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at

Day 2, 3: Ngorongoro Crater / Conservation Area

After breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Ngorongoro whereupon arrival you will be met by shared lodge vehicle and transferred to the lodge. This afternoon you will relax and just view Africa from the rim of the crater, attend dinner and sleep.

Next day, we descend into the crater floor – a truly stunning wonder of the world, the 102-square mile crater is a magnificent caldera – the largest in the world. Encounter over 30,000 animals: elephants, prides of lion, leopard, cheetah and giraffe among other general plains wildlife. Lunch will be taken as picnic. In the afternoon we proceed with our game drive before ascending the crater and driving to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4, 5, 6: Serengeti National Park

A short scenic flight over some of the most breathtaking landscapes will bring you into the Serengeti.

Spend three days exploring the Serengeti, watching vast herds at one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. You may be lucky to witness the great migration and definitely encounter staggering wildlife, great numbers of cats and plains wildlife.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast a short flight will bring you Manyara area; upon arrival at the airstrip you will be met and transferred in private vehicle, activities here will include game viewing drive in Lake Manyara National Park, all meals and overnight at

Day 8: Tarangire National Park

This morning we savour a leisurely breakfast then we set off for Tarangire National Park by road in private vehicle – a park of dramatic landscapes and excellent game-viewing, mystic baobab trees, plus a large concentration of big cats and arguably the best bird diversity in East Africa. Arrive in time for lunch and settle in to your exclusive and experience nature at its purest form. This evening we head out for an evening game viewing drive before returning to freshen up, attend dinner, sleep and be awakened by the majesty of the competitive lions.

Day 10 – Depart

Today marks the last day of your Tanzania safari; after breakfast you will drive back to Arusha arriving for lunch; the afternoon will be at leisure and later transfer the airport for your outbound flight.
